Happy Tuesday family, we have a new guest post by our brother Eugene. Who is also a blogger here. Eugene is a brother and a friend to me, he is artistic, supportive and so encouraging. Let’s here out from him.
One amazing thing about life is going on with your normal life without being aware how others wish they were like you. Life is full of hurdles and sometimes we see ourselves as rugs. I mean you’ve been pushed to the walls by life and you can’t even figure how to protect your ego. Talking of ego, it’s real to every human being. Ego protects you from being involved in unworthy circumstances. But, can ones ego stand during a storm?
Most people who are submerged in deep calamities would try as hard as possible to put their head on a higher ground, and try to ignore their reality. We are trying to be machines ie: garbage in, garbage out situation. We are trying to ignore the impact of every input and output across our bodies and mind. We are human beings not stones. Yes, we are not made out of stone, but by flesh, blood, mind and spirit. We can’t ignore the feelings that each of these aspects would hold if they are in pain.
I’m not a psychologist, who will give you ideas on stress management, but will help you know a hero who is inside you, and activate. The word of God has illustrations of different times and a seasons we might go through. I also have an understanding of the fact that nothing in this world is permanent.
You are always a hero in everything you do. Let life’s circumstances not lie to your true reality. Make sure you’ve used every moment well. Through God’s help, and having also read through the old testament stories, I have learnt how the reward comes after facing each situation.
For it is you who light my lamp; the Lord my God lightens my darkness (Psalms 18:28). Though there’s darkness in your life, God will bring light upon it. There’s no dead end to you, Oh hero.
For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall (Psalms 18:29). Nothing will ever limit your progress, Oh hero
He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on the heights. He trains my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand supported me, and your gentleness made me great. You have gave a wide place for my steps under me, and my feet did not slip ( Psalms 18:33-36).
Hero you, God did these things practically in David’s life. He can do more with your situation.
Crying helps, it’s actually one of the best therapy. But it won’t put the reality away. Ignorance will only allow you to look good in front of your peers, but won’t change your reality. At some point you may need to share it with someone, but fellow human beings can really break your trust. Cats, dogs and pets generally would just look at your tears but do nothing.
There’s a hero always knocking your door. Allow him to come to your rescue.
This God – His way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him (Psalms 18: 30)
Don’t shy off…
You are a hero, prepared by God, to prove His might.
