This one is easy..
Hard in the fact that the things I will mention are the ones that I really love doing for the rest of my life. Now, I would do them for no pay… But we all know, my mom expects me to start paying for her bills, and I gotta start saving.. ‘Hold up! Its no time to talk about my problems, just tell them the three things’???.
I have not yet taken the risk to dive into them fully, but I am currently praying and thinking to. I feel like I need to have a source of income differently (by doing what I love as well) but also doing these things full time. I just love the feeling these things give me, and so am ready to go down the road less travelled and do them. As I said yesterday, we only live once, we might as well do things that bring us joy. As in I feel like if you can do something for no pay, then that means it makes you feel more alive, and so I would love to live a life where I do just that. And so who knows, knowing that God is my provider, that He will definitely take care of me, I am His daughter and so I put my worries aside and define my own meaning of success… I might go down this path.
“Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.”
Philippians 4:6-7 MSG
Now you are lost????. Good. I forgot and started speaking life to myself…???
The three things
1) Community Work
Be it volunteering, or being there for people in individual basis.
2) Encouraging and Listening
I love people, I just don’t like it when people are going through hardships, and I would love to help in any practical way I can. For now, am just so good at encouraging, speaking life into the people around me, and praying with them. I love walking with people in any different situations that they face in life.. Just doing life with people. So be it volunteering, kids at church or any other way I can be a part of someone’s life, bring it on.
To me writing is like therapy. I journal when I am stressed, I write poems when I am sad, I write stories after I think and question stuffs, I blog a lot. Welcome to my blog BTW. And so I love it. I love writing. I love the joy that comes by doing it.
PS, I know no one pays anyone for travelling, or maybe some are paid for it.. But honestly I would do it for no pay as well.
What are the things that you would do for no pay??
